Samoa Accommodation Standards Committee

The primary function of the Samoa Tourism Accommodation Standards Steering Committee is to provide sound advice to the Tourism Accommodation Standards Programme.  Tasks include:

•providing overall policy guidance and advise to the Programme

•monitoring progress of the annual workplan implementation

•ensuring the Samoa Accommodation Standards minimum requirements are reviewed on a regular basis and in line with national policies and legislation

•reviewing and approving the annual workplan

•reviewing and approving annual and quarterly reports of the Technical Committee for submission to the STA Board for endorsement

•reviewing and approving recommendations for the Tourism Accommodations Categorisation based on annual inspections conducted by the Technical Committee for submission to the STA Board for endorsement.
