Corporate Plan 2014 - 2017
The Corporate Plan 2014-2017 delineates the short term strategies and outcomes by the Samoa Tourism Authority towards the development and promotion of sustainable tourism in Samoa. The Plan covers three financial years commencing July 1, 2014 to June 30, 2015 and July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2016 and 01 July 2016 to 31 June 2017. The Tourism Sector on a national scale continues to generate the highest income for Samoa and is recognised as one of the Key Outcomes in the Samoa Development Strategy 2012 - 2016.
The Plan is in alignment with the tourism strategies and the targeted key performance indicators in the Samoa Tourism Sector Plan 2014-2019 and those for Sustainable Tourism (Outcome 4) in the Samoa Development Strategy 2012-2016. A Costed Workplan for both periods is drawn in accordance with the government allocated budget for the Authority together with minimal funds generated from Cost Recovery revenues. In assurance of an effective implementation of the Plan a total budget of SAT$15,953,848 Tala is being proposed for Financial Year 01 July 2015 to 01 June 2016 and $16,685,073 in the financial years thereafter.
