Corporate Plan 2014 - 2017The Corporate Plan 2014-2017 delineates the short term strategies and outcomes by the Samoa Tourism Authority towards the development and promotion of sustainable tourism in Samoa. The Plan covers three financial years commencing July 1, 2014 to June 30, 2015 and July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2016 and 01 July 2016 to 31 June 2017. The Tourism Sector on a national scale continues to generate the highest income for Samoa and is recognised as one of the Key Outcomes in the Samoa Development Strategy 2012 - 2016.

Economic Impact Analysis ReportThe Economic Impact Analyses (EIA) for tourism has taken place in Samoa over the seventeen months from August 2013 to December 2014. It has been a substantial collaborative effort between the Research and Statistics Division of the Samoa Tourism Authority (STA) and Acorn Tourism Consulting.

About UsThe Statutory Body was called the Samoa Visitors Bureau when it was first established in 1986 following the passing of the Samoa Visitors Bureau Act in 1984 with Amendments incorporated in 1998 and 2002 changing the entity’s name to the Samoa Tourism Authority to align its focus with the development of tourism in Samoa and the Office of the Minister of Tourism as it is now legislated and mandated in the Samoa Tourism Development Act 2012.
